Antwone Fisher, a young navy man, is forced to see a psychiatrist after a violent outburt againt a fellow crewman. During the coure of treatment a painful past is revealed and a new hope begin.
A sailor prone to violent outburts is sent to a naval psychiatrist for help. Refusing at firt to open up, the young man eventually breaks down and reveals a horrific childhood. Through the guidance of his doctor, he confronts his painful past and begin a quest to find the family he never knew.
