RWBY Season 3 by Rooster Teeth left us with quite a lot of business to take care of, and now the long-awaited continuation will start on October 22nd of this year. Rooster Teeth dropped this tweet a bit earlier signaling the release date of Monty Oum's capstone project.
When they say, "In case you missed the news...", they're referring to the trailer that premiered at the RTX 2016 event that took place at the beginning of July. If you missed the event, but still want to see the trailer, you at least have this video recording.
While a lot of details is shrouded in mystery, we can see that the main character Ruby has swapped out her original attire for one that seems more battle-oriented. The trailer then shows short glimpses of the remaining members of RWBY, all of whom have had a wardrobe change of their own.
Will it be as good as the other seasons? One cannot be too sure, but I wouldn't have worried. Monty Oum is said to have planned and completed 5 seasons of RWBY, so it probably won't deviate too much from what makes it great.
It's hard to call RWBY "not anime". Even Japan's picked it up and have created a manga for it. All in all, it's an incredibly popular show to say the least. I'm with a lot of people I know when I say I can't wait for Season 4!
Meanwhile, why not try out their game, Grimm Eclipse? It's been in beta early access for a while, but they've just come out with this launch trailer.
