Sakatsuki Shizuto travels around Japan, searching for accidents, murders, occasions where someone died and so on to mourn those who passed. One day, a woman decides to accompany him on his journey due to reasons of her own. All this while Shizuto's family at home is facing their own challenges partly because of his odd behaviour but also due to their own misfortunes.
