My Pretend Girlfriend (百瀬、こっちを向いて。, Momose, Kotchi o Muite?) is a 2014 Japanese romance film directed by Yakumo Saiji. The theme song is sung by Weaver.
Osamu Mukai will appear in 百瀬、こっちを向いて “Momose, Kocchi wo Muite” an upcoming film which will mark the starring debut of former Momoiro Clover member Akari Hayami. The film is based on a novel by Eiichi Nakata, a pen name used by popular novelist Otsuichi (published May 10, 2008 by Shodensha).
It tells about Noboru ( Taro Takeuchi) a high school student who isn’t popular at all. He looks up to senior student Miyazaki (Asuka Kudo) who is one of the most popular guys at school. Miyazaki has two girlfriends: Momose (Akari Hayami) and Tetsuko (Anna Ishibashi). Momose is bright and Tetsuko is a popular student from a wealthy family. One day, Miyazaki is caught with Momose. To keep his relationship with Tetsuko, Miyazaki asks Noboru and Momose to pretend they are dating. They both agree due to their affections for Miyazaki. Noboru and Momose begin to act like a couple in front others and soon Noboru begins to develop feelings for Momose, who is still in love with Miyazaki.Japanese rock trio WEAVER will provide the film’s theme song. It is called “Kocchi wo muiteyo” and was written specifically for the film.
