Keira Cameron's world has disintegrated. Alec Sadler betrayed her chance of going back to 2077, using the time travel device in hope of saving his girlfriend. Now Kiera & Liber8, prisoner of the Freelancer scramble to escape their grasp.
Kiera is advised by the head of the Freelancer that Alec's trip to the past has had severe conequences. The existing time line is disintegrating and will soon be destroyed. All they can do now is send her back in time and have her do her best to save the future. Alec has successfully gone back 7 days in time and is happy to see Emily alive and well. He also sees himself and realizes the complication that have arisen. Kiera successfully travels back 7 days but has a solution for her double. Kellog meanwhile meets Escher.
