Department Head Park (Park Sung-Woong) and new employee Se-Young (Lee Se-Young) walk into a secret basement storage room to take out old files at their insurance agency. Park knows Se-Young possesses a supernatural power, which is the ability to see events as they really happened . Park then instructs Se-Young to use her powers to go through past case files, which he suspects involved fraud. The three cases are "Cliff," "Accident" and "Escape". At 4:44 AM, when their stories are about to end, a dark shadow casts over them.

Kim Hwi's The Pain of Death centers on three depressed girls who go on a road trip after they fail the teacher's certification exam, but a car accident turns their trip into a nightmare. Jung Bum-shik's Escape is about a male trainee teacher who gets locked in the doorway to hell.
It is loosely termed a sequel to Horror Stories, a film with a similar format which was released in 2012.
