A forenic anthropologist and a cocky FBI agent build a team to investigate death causes. And quite often, there isn't more to examine than rotten flesh or mere bones.
Brilliant, but socially inept, forenic anthropologist Dr. Temperence Brennan works at the Jefferonian Intitute in Washington DC. After conulting for him on a FBI case, she is approached by cocky yet charming ex-Army Ranger turned Special Agent, Seeley Booth to help the Bureau solve crimes by identifying human remain that are too far gone for standard FBI forenic investigation. Brennan's empirical, literal view of the world causes friction with Booths emotive, intinctive attitude creating a volatile relationhip. However as their case load increases the symbiotic partnerhip produces results and with the support of Brennan's Squint Squad, murderer, past and present should be on the look out.
