A woman's child is missing, but her multiple peronalities make finding out what happened to the child more difficult. And the case is further complicated by the appearance of the woman's sister and the murder of their parents.
Cynthia Nixon turn in a powerful performance as a woman with multiple peronalities who may have abused and fatally harmed her daughter. As Detectives Olivia Benon and Elliot Stabler dig more deeply into the case - with initial resistance from Dr. Henry Carlisle -- Donovan continues to present even more peronalities along with a harrowing twist to the case. For the detectives, it's a race againt time to find the infant, while adjusting to sweeping changes in the SVU - a result from poor decision made by the detectives that have spilled over to the squad.
