The story is about Muhyul series and the third king Koguryeo which is also called the god of war. Muhyul is the grandson of Jumong but was born supposedly cursed to kill his parents, siblings, son and destroy the country. His father, King Yuri, was horrified by prophecy but not the heart to kill her own child, so he ordered eldest son, Haemyung, to take the baby and take him far away from the palace to live the common man, not knowing who he was really. Throughout the 36 episodes Muhyul going through a lot of tests and trials to overcome bad Condos and eventually become a powerful king.
The drama about the life of Jumong's grandson, Moo Hyul, who later became Daemusin. it features Song Il-Guk as King Daemushin of the Goguryeo Kingdom (37 B.C.-A.D. 668).
